Back on the Bench

My first week "back on the bench" went better than expected. The pharmacy needed a complete overhaul. I cleaned, pitched and organized every crevice, drawer and shelf. It was quite a chore. Major direction is needed and I am anxious and excited to turn things around. I did decide on three 11 hour days with a half day every other week. I am so thankful to have every weekend off. I love being an active member in church and running the power point on Sundays. I miss it when I am gone. So to have every Sunday off means the world to both Dusty and I.

I did miss my children and found myself watching the clock several times, daydreaming of what they would be doing at that exact time. The best thing though is being able to see them to bed every night. I cherish story time and snuggling. Greta got her love of books and reading from me. She reminds me so much of how I was at that age. She would read all night if we would let her!

They are doing WONDERFUL with Linda. She is so much more than we could have ever dreamed of. Mary Poppins, Super Nanny and Loving Grandma all rolled into one. After one day, Greta was saying "excuse me" when she interupted, "please and thank you's" galore, as well as praying at each meal. I am so proud of her. We are so blessed to have Pastor Al and Linda in our lives. It could not have worked out anymore perfectly. God is great!
