A lot has been happening quickly at our house! It's been a bit stressful this week with decisions on plumbing, siding and roofing. We try to take the kids over at night (pajama rides) to see the progress. It scares me every time and my anxiety is out of control whenever we do this, however they both get so excited to see the house and the heavy machinery! Wednesday night we decided to take the kids over to play at the playground with Aunt Danah and Stanley. We were there about 5 minutes, when Atticus fell going up the hardwood stairs and split his eyebrow open. Being the overprotective mom that I am, I said, "Get up buddy, you're fine!" I soon realized after he did not get up, that blood was streaming down his sad little face. I cannot handle my children's blood - so I immediately felt like I was going to vomit. Of course he wanted only Mommy! So.....we soon headed to the hospital for him to receive 4 stitches! He did amazing and was braver than I expected him to be. I even think he's a little proud of those blue sutures!
